Looking at the market I can see lots of cheap and nasty products, one I would be aware of is Stone Deals, they seem to be selling second quality travertine tiles calling them daft names Coliseum travertine honed and filled & Arena travertine honed and filled...this is to hide the real name which is commercial travertine honed and filled meaning second quality.
From what I can see is that this travertine is 100% second quality the white areas on the photo's are filling and these fillings would come out over a period of time, not a good material to put on your floor.
My advise is to take a middle of the road travertine at around £25 -£30 m2 and make sure you are getting the real deal at £15 m2 you are going to buy a disaster in the long term.
